Metung Country Fire Authority (CFA)

This volunteer emergency service unit responds to local disasters. They also train residents in emergency preparedness. Joining the CFA is an opportunity to acquire essential safety skills.

Friends of Metung

Friends of Nyerimilang

Explore Nyerimilang Heritage Park, East Gippsland's 180-hectare treasure. Enjoy its historic homestead, gardens, and walking tracks, offering breath-taking views and wildlife encounters. The Friends of Nyerimilang, a volunteer group since 1982, help maintain this natural and cultural jewel. Check out the Gift Shop and Information Centre for ways to support or join in preserving this beautiful park.
